Believe

Life doesn't have to be this way.
We'll make it better for us someday.
Love's all we need and the heart to believe.
So look into the sky, believe, and then you'll never ask why.

"Believe" by Norman Agatep & Edwin Ortega

After placing your order, the next step is believing.

It is believing that what you asked is already yours, from the moment you asked. That is why you only have to ask once. Asking twice is a sign that you do not believe. And if you do not believe, by the Law of Attraction, you will not receive it, because not having what you want is the predominant focus of your thoughts.

It sounds more complicated than it seems.

Don't worry about them. Don't think that you lack them. Think of it as already yours, as already in your possession.

And by the Law of Attraction you will have commanded the universe give it to you.

One stumbling block to believe is not knowing how it will come about. You look at your life, your financial, physical, geographic and economic means and you say to yourself, "Given all of these, how will it become possible? How will I get what I asked?"

The secret to overcoming this stumbling block is simple: Don't think of how you're going to get what you want. Your job is to focus and think of what you want and not to figure our how you're going to get it.

The how is the job of the universe. The universe will align itself to what you hold dear in your thoughts. You just have to know what you want and believe that it is already yours. The way will be shown to you. The how will come and then you get what you want.

Place your order

This first step in getting what you want, is to ask for it.

This may be a perfect time to actually know what you really, really want out of life.

Do you want money? Travel to somewhere? Have the perfect mate? Have perfect health?

The first step is requesting for it. The first step is asking for it.

Make a willful request to the universe (or term it as your faith dictates) and the universe will align itself to make it happen for you.

A few pointers though:

1. Make sure you are very specific in your request. This you shall need to focus and visualize on what you want. The lack of focus can give you mixed results.

2. Ask for what you want. Ask it in a positive light. For example, if you want to get out of debt, don't ask to get out of debt." By the Law of Attraction, you will attract more debt that way because it does not distinguish between good or bad, just on what you are thinking. So instead of requesting to get out of debt, just focus and request for more revenue. That solves your debt problem.

3. You should have good feelings about your request. That way, you know that what you requested is good for you. Be excited about making requests. If not, you really did not want what you asked for and you'll attract what you did not really want.

4. Ask once. Sure, you can remind yourself of what you asked for sometimes but only to elicit good feelings from it. Asking more than once shows that you have doubt and you'll not get it.

Yesterday, I was talking to someone and she said this time honored slogan, "You can't have it all."

Now I know that's not true. You can have it all.

You can have the proverbial cake and eat it too.

You don't think that this way of thinking is consistent with your religious beliefs? Think again.

How about these words:

"And I tell you, ask and you will receive; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened."

Sounds familiar. Those were the words of none other than Jesus. (Luke 11:9-10)

So ask away. It is your birthright. And the universe will make it happen for you.

Thoughts become things

"Thoughts become things" is the concept of visualization in a nutshell.

As the Law of Attraction states we attract what we are thinking about, it therefore becomes important to visualize and think about what we really really want. And with the proper focus or with clarity on what that it, the Law of Attraction works to bring those to you.

An unclear focus on what one wants may lead to mixed results.

I have to admit, I have not really mastered this one. Some experts believe that to master visualization, one needs to quite the mind first, through meditation.

But there are aids to do this. Get pictures of everything and anything you want and post it on a board or put it in a scrapbook. This will help you visualize.

Personally, I use my computers for this. I put what I want in my desktop wallpapers and used them for screensavers so I'm constantly reminded what I want and the mere sight of these elicit good feelings for me.

But visualization must be made constantly for the Law of Attraction to work. The danger of constantly visualizing is it may become a chore. You still have to feel good about what you visualize for this to work.

Some people use a very good approach my expressing gratitude for what they already have first and then visualize what they want. In this way, you approach visualization in a good mood and it will never become a chore.

In this way, gratitude and visualization go hand in hand as processes by which we can invoke the Law of Attraction and make it work for us.

I will discuss the steps to attract in more detail during the next entries.

Gratitude

Gratitude is one of the key attitudes in applying The Law of Attraction to one's life.

By having gratitude as a central attitude in one's life, the life focus instantly shifts from what one does not have to those that one has.

This instantly shifts thoughts and feelings from those of lack to those of abundance. Consequently, if one focuses on what one has and feels grateful for it, it will attract more good things and good circumstances by the Law of Attraction.

Try to start the day with an "attitude of gratitude" and you'll find yourself being grateful for more and more things, events and circumstances. And at the very least, you'll be rewarded with a good day. And that, again is something to be grateful for.

So from a life spiraling out of control. And attitude of gratitude will lead you to a exponentially improved life, by the Law of Attraction.

Again, there's nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Focus on abundance

As the Law of Attraction is a universal law, it works for everyone, every time.

But for it to work for you, you have to attract what you want and what is good and positive.

If the focus is incorrect, you get the wrong results (as when you are thinking of what you don't want as opposed to what you do want) or mixed results (as when you are focusing on what you want from a negative attitude, an attitude of lack rather than abundance).

Do you recall the saying: "Be careful what you wish for because it may come true." Care is absolutely essential and finds truth in this statement.

An attitude of abundance or a positive attitude is absolutely essential in attracting what you want correctly. In focusing on what you want do not think of concepts like competition, strife or conflict as these stems from lack. You may get what you want, but it will cost you something. If you focus on what you want with an attitude of abundance or gratitude, you will get the correct results. You will get what you want, completely what you want and at a cost that you also want.

A good focus

Given that the Law of Attraction tunes in to what you are thinking and what you want, you might as well focus on what it good.

Instead of thinking of what you don't want. Focus on what you do want.

Put your desires in a positive light.

For example, if you want to get out of debt, don't think about getting out of debt. Think about getting more revenue, because if you think about getting out of debt, you'll attract more debt by the law of attraction.

If you're anti-war, don't think of ending of war. Think of peace. Be pro-peace instead of anti-war.

If you're against a particular candidate, support his opponent.

That would attract you the correct things. And it will attract what you really want.

Again, there's nothing to lose with a positive outlook. And everything to gain.

What is the Law of Attraction?

The Law of Attraction is known by a lot of principles. Some of the you are familiar with:

A Self-Fulfilling Prophesy.

Mind over matter.

Psychosomatic.

Your wish is my command.

Karma.

Serendipity.

Destiny.

Fate.

Getting what you deserved.

The Law of Attraction simply means "Like attracts like." Unlike in magnetism "Opposites attract," The Law of Attraction, in life, means who ever you are, whatever you accomplished or experience, you have attracted through your thoughts.

The Law of Attraction is neutral. It does not distinguish whether that thing you attracted is what you desired or not. As long as that is your predominant thought, the universe aligns itself to bring it to you.

If your predominant thought is on what you don't want, like debt, sickness or bad relationships, The Law of Attraction states you'll attract these things just the same.

Looking back in my like, I believe this was what happened. I focussed on what I don't want.

There was a time when I didn't care about debt. That's when there was always enough money and I did not worry about debt then.

But then, there came a time when all my preoccupation was debt. So more and more debt came in.

There was a time when my thoughts were fixed on not having a bad relationship. My previous relationship was not going anywhere so I decided to end it. But with this predominant thought, I attracted another bad relationship (actually even worse because it reared its ugly head a few years later and children are already involved).

When I thought I was sick, I really became sick. And it became worse as I wallowed in self-pity. So when I was sick this past few days, I just took my meds and thought nothing of it. So now, I'm feeling better.

Give it a try. Re-examine your life. By the Law of Attraction, you'll discover that what you are is the result of what you have thought.

Attraction in action is not only true in my life. It's also true in yours.

Try to re-examine your life if what I said is true. You have nothing to loose, because you really need to step back once in a while to survey your life, anyway. "The unexamined life is not worth living," as Socrates said.
